Meaghan Sholdice Farhall

A graduate of the Theatre Arts program at Mount Royal and both the B.FA and B.Ed. programs at the University of Lethbridge, Meaghan was the Artistic Director Alberta High School of Fine Arts in Okotoks, Alberta. Meaghan is also a founding member and co-artistic director of The Late, Late Breakfast show, a Calgary based sketch comedy company, and is a local actor and acting instructor. Select theatre credits include Macbeth, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Julius Caesar, Comedy of Errors (Shakespeare Company), Waiting for the Parade (Broad Minds). Located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Company of Rogues Actor’s Studio teaches a deep and personal process of acting rooted in the New York tradition of authentic performance; offering professional Stage, Meisner, Television and Film training for the actor. For the last 30 years, our Co-founders (Joe-Norman Shaw and Christianne Hirt) have dedicated their lives to the craft of acting as working professionals, while sharing their passion with thousands of students -many of whom have successfully entered the professional world.

Uta Hagen, principal acting instructor at New York’s famed HB Studio, espoused: “Only he who can, should teach”. At Rogues we adhere to this philosophy- our faculty is comprised of practicing film and theatre artists, recognized for their professional work in performance, writing and directing. Company of Rogues is a New York style studio offering the most comprehensive training program found in Western Canada. Our teachers have a deep understanding of the Craft of Acting and the ability to produce actors who meet industry demands.
